The painting is listed in the 1795 catalogue of the Stanisław August collection under no. 1162. Jadwiga (1374(?)–99) of the first House of Anjou, daughter of Louis I d’Anjou. Queen of Poland (reg. 1384–99) as Jadwiga, married 1386 Władysław II Jagiełło, Grand Duke of Lithuania and King of Poland.
