In a red field a green rectangular niche topped by a small triangle and with a rectangular undercut at the bottom. Around the niche a blue band, outlined in yellow, filled with a red zigzag. In the central part of the niche a red-and-white medallion – a rectangle with two triangular projections, inscribed with a hook motif and four hooks on the sides. Next to the medallion smaller motifs: immediately below the top – an arrow and a rhombus with hooked motifs, below rectangles of various size inscribed with the motif of a chessboard, octagon, the stylised letter X, and small rhombuses. Around the niche varicoloured octagons with inscribed hooked rosettes. We warmly invite you to become more acquainted with full description of this rug published in “Prayer Rugs Collection catalogue" by Katarzyna Połujan (Teresa Sahakian Foundation, The Royal Castle in Warsaw – Museum), Warsaw 2015.
